Casino War – Easy to understand & interesting to play!
Casino war is a common casino table game based upon the children’s games of War. Undeniably, this game is one of the most effortlessly understood casino card games ever; however, it also has a comparatively big house edge as compared with other casino games. This game is usually played with six standard 52 card decks. The cards are graded in the same way as cards are graded for poker games, except the aces which are always high.
The game
One card is transacted to a dealer and a player. If the player’s card is higher, then he or she wins the amount equal to the dealer’s bet, if dealer’s card is higher, then player loses his bet.
Ties
Usually, a tie occurs when the dealer and the player each have similar ranked cards. During such a situation the player has two choices, either the player surrender, however in this case the player loses half the bet. Or, the player can go to war, and for that the player must place an extra wager, which should be of the same size as the first wager.
The war
If the player chooses to go to war, the dealer burns three cards before dealing each of them an extra card. If the player’s card is graded higher than or the same as the dealer’s card, then the player wins money equivalent to the size of the initial bet only. If the dealer’s card is graded higher than the player loses both the initial bet as well as ‘going to war’ bet.
The stratagem
It is believed that surrendering has higher advantage for the house if a bonus payout is offered, that’s the reason why, a player must not surrender.
Generally, beginners play the game of casino war as it is considered to be one of the easiest casino games ever. Although the game is easy to understand, it is quite interesting also.
